Understanding PNR Status Terms

CNF / Confirmed

Your ticket is guaranteed. Coach and seat number will be visible after chart preparation.

RAC (Reservation Against Cancellation)

You can sit inside the train. Two RAC travelers share a single lower berth seat.

GNWL (General Waiting List)

Issued for travelers beginning their trip from origin stations. Has the highest chance of getting confirmed.

PQWL / RLWL (Pooled / Remote Quota)

Issued for intermediate station journeys. Usually takes longer to get confirmed.
